The US company, Johnson Controls, is a global leader in production of seats, batteries and other automotive interiors. The foundation stone of an automotive parts production facility in the free economy zone of Bunardzik (Macedonia) was laid in October 2006. Construction of the facility will start in December, and it is planned to open in autumn 2007. The operation of the new facility will generate about 500 new jobs, including 150 highly skilled technical staff hired during the initial stage of the project.
